If Joscha is not on set, there's a good chance you'll find him somewhere in the mountains around Innsbruck. Originally from Berlin, with a stop in Düsseldorf along the way, he enjoys the mix of urban creativity and outdoor adventure that shapes both his life and work.

Joscha is particularly interested in stories that touch on social, environmental and political topics, giving the craft of filmmaking a purpose beyond aesthetics.

His background in civil engineering comes in handy when plans change, the weather has other ideas, or that one crucial charger mysteriously disappears. He joined the Flamingo family in 2021 and works from Innsbruck remotely since 2024.
